Faculty Profile of the Department
Dr. Ajay Kumar is an Associate Professor in Geology and Head, Department of Physical Sciences. He completed his higher education – M. Tech. (Applied Geology) and Ph. D. from Dr. Hari Singh Gaur University, Sagar (M.P.). His area of Specialisation is Geochemistry and Environmental Geology. He has published more than 12 research papers. He has participated in 30 National and International/Seminar/ Conferences/Workshop/Training. He has more than 30 years of research and teaching experience. Four Ph. D. Thesis were awarded under his supervision
Prof. Indra Prasad Tripathi is Dean, Faculty of Science and Environment, MGCGV, Chitrakoot Satna, MP India. He has made outstanding contribution towards research and re-standardisation of traditional formulation of anti-diabetic and antiseptic drugs using new techniques and methods. He has simultaneously made remarkable contributions towards the syntheses, characterisation of metal complexes with their anti diabetic properties, antioxidant activities, super oxide dismutase mimicking activities, free radical scavenging activities, catalytic behaviour etc. Prof. Tripathi has also worked on syntheses, characterisation of carbon nano tubes. He made carbon nano tubes through metal complexes with natural proteins like spinach, egg albumin using various spectroscopic, diffraction/ scattering, electro-chemical characterisation tools. Prof. Tripathi has published 130 research papers and his Google Scholar citation-164, h index-06, i10 index-04 and Research gate value-17.93. Prof. Tripathi is a founder member of BER Chapter, NASI and actively engaged in the chapter activities.
Prof. Bharat Mishra is a Professor in Physics. His area of Specialisation includes Physics & Electronics. He has published more than 85 research papers, three Books and participated in more than 40 National and International Seminar/Conferences/ Workshop/Training. He has more than 27 years of research and teaching experience. Twenty Ph. D. Thesis were awarded under his supervision and guidance. He was conferred with the Best Science Research Award in 2011 by M.P. Council of Science and Technology cell, Bhopal.
