Faculty of Rural Development and Business Management

Rural India, through inheritance has retained its traditional arts and crafts. The small and cottage industries and tiny repair shops provide self-employment. Marketing of products made by the small and cottage industries sector, especially in rural areas, is a major constraint in promotion of the rural industries. Lack of information and poor communication system is affecting the progress and growth of small industries. The University imparts management education for the promotion of small and agribusiness, besides developing human resource for management of rural development programmes.

Aims & Objectives
