
Role of Ombudsperson
The Ombudsperson is an independent, neutral, and confidential resource appointed to address and resolve student, faculty, and staff grievances. In accordance with the guidelines set by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Ombudsperson operates impartially and is dedicated to promoting fairness and equity across all university processes and interactions.
Responsibilities of Ombudsperson
The primary responsibilities of the Ombudsperson include:
- Listening to concerns and complaints impartially and confidentially.
- Facilitating fair and equitable resolutions.
- Advising on university policies and procedures.
- Mediating conflicts and fostering communication among parties.
- Ensuring compliance with UGC guidelines and university regulations.
- Providing recommendations for systemic improvements based on identified issues.
