History and Objectives

The department was established according to University Statute and Act  in 1992. The objectives are-

  1. To purchase consumable, non consumable commodities as per requirement raised by departments and faculties.
  2. To procure equipment etc. for different projects and activities.
  3. To store the materials purchased and keeping inventories and stock records
Functions
  • The demand is raised by Faculty and Department. It is fulfilled by procurement through mptenders.gov.in or by GeM portal.
  •  After getting the supply and quality assurance material and equipment issued to the indenters.
